Interestingly, in response to this lawsuit, OpenAI has indicated that while they explored various form factors, their initial device prototype is not currently planned as an in-ear or traditional wearable. 

So, while the immediate prospect of an OpenAI-branded hearable might be on hold, the idea of AI-powered "hearables" - devices that combine the functionality of earbuds with the intelligence of a dedicated AI - presents a compelling vision for both leisure and business travelers.
