WSJ - (June 10, 2024) Elliott Investment Management has built a stake of nearly $2 billion in Southwest Airlines LUV -1.16%decrease; and wants to overhaul the company’s leadership to boost its financial and stock performance.
The activist is one of Southwest’s largest investors, confirming an earlier Wall Street Journal report.
